The Original Congregation was established as a church in the early 1920's known as Church of God In Christ.   The name was changed to Johnson Temple Church of God In Christ. This later organization was a member church to the National Oraganization; " The Church of God In Christ Intl; Headquarters in Memphis, TN under the  leadership of our Founder and forefather Bishop Charles Harris Mason. Johnson Temple Church of  God in Christ was under the Jurisdiction of the Western Missouri Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction led by Bishop V. M. Barker of Kansas City, MO.

 After the passing of Bishop V. M. Barker Johnson Temple COGIC remained faithful to Western Missouri Ecclesiastical Jurisdicion under the leadership of the Late Bishop E. Harris Moore until the early 90's. The Lord was leading Johnson Temple into another direction to fulfill his purpose and mandate and the name changed from Johnson Temple to "FaithWalk Ministries". Bishop Long while running a revival in Alanta, Ga standing on the balcony of his hotel room God showed him a building coming down out of the sky that we would be instrumental in building.

FaithWalk Ministries now located on 514 Fox Street  Paris, Mo is a ministry that reaches a 100 mile radius and beyond,with parishoners attemding services as far as Kansas City, and St. Louis. FaithWalk Ministries has grown tremendously in the last several years that it has caused the congregation to move three times due to God fulfilling his word.

FaithWalk Deliverance Ministries today is under the leadership of Bishop Harold. G Long who has been pastoring since the early 70's.FaithWalk Ministries is a Deliverance Ministry where the " Majestic Glory of God Reigns Supreme".
